Our Earth 5 Element Balm is crafted for use with individuals showing signs of Earth Element imbalance in traditional East Asian medicine.
This grounding blend is especially useful in clinical acupuncture or at-home routines and supports:
- Harmonise Spleen & Stomach Qi
- Tonify Spleen, supporting digestion and reducing Damp
- Calm excessive worry, overthinking or mental restlessness and obsession
- Balancing Earth strengths (nurturing, grounded-ness) & weaknesses (worry, rumination, pensiveness, fatigue, sluggish digestion)
Patient Use:
Safe for home use under guidance from a practitioner or acupuncturist.
How to Use
- Store in the fridge to preserve consistency (this balm softens easily in warm environments)
- Apply a small amount to source acupuncture points on the selected meridians, or along any tender areas on these channels — a little goes a long way.
- External use only — do not ingest
- Keep away from eyes.

- Chinese function: promotes blood flow, calms Shen, helps resolve stagnation
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)
- Stimulating, restorative, invigorating
- Chinese function: strengthens Yang, moves Qi, improves clarity and focus
Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana)
- Calming, antispasmodic, warming
- Chinese function: warms Middle Jiao, regulates Qi, settles digestive discomfort
Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis)
- Cheerful, balancing, digestive tonic
- Chinese function: supports Spleen, harmonises emotions, helps uplift mood
Plant-Based Base:
- Cocoa Butter — Absorbs quickly into top layer of skin, beneficial for dry cracked skin. Treats and prevents stretch marks, helps improve skin elasticity. Anti-inflammatory & antioxidant properties.
- Mango Butter — excellent emollient, reported to reduce wrinkles and other signs of ageing. Rich in vitamin E. Antioxidant and rejuvenating activities which can help restore the impaired barrier function of the skin.
- Berry Wax & Myrica Fruit Wax — imparts a nice skin feel to balms, adds texture, body (without greasiness).
- Sweet Almond Oil — able to form a protective layer over the skin, helping to retain moisture and prevent trans epidermal water loss.
- Vitamin E — protects healthy cells from damage by free radicals
