Our immune system is an intricate network of cells, tissues & organs that work together to defend the body against invaders such as viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungus, all these have the potential to make us sick.

If you have been adding vitamins & minerals and eating a healthy natural diet and not seeing any great changes, maybe adding another step of massaging with essential oils could be the key.
When massaging essential oil blends in through the skin, their healing components are absorbed into the bloodstream. From there they disperse to the specific organs and systems on which they work. Some of the essential oils’ components, carried via the bloodstream, can also pass through the blood-brain barrier to the limbic system in the brain, where they can influence the endocrine and autonomic nervous systems.
We use essential oils medicinally to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. As it enhances both the physical and emotional body.
Please note that differnt % dillution are used in our blends to be used for each age-group, e.g for Adult 3% dillution, Teenages 2% dillution, - only to be used on the body, NOT on the face as skin in this area is too delicate.
If you would like a blend for a child please contact us and we can make a specific safe blend to your childs needs, as childrens skin is very delicate and due to there body weight/size we have to be very careful when appling essential oils....as many are contra-indicated due to toxicity in children.

Essential oils used in this Blend :
Frankincense:
- Properties: Uplifting, restoring, centering.
- Actions: Anti-inflammatory, cicatrisant, cytophylactic, haemostatic, tonic, uplifting, vulnerary.
- Immune System – Colds & flu. Used in Cancer care.
- Contra Indications = No known contraindications.
Cinnamon Leaf:
- Properties: Warming, stimulating, vitalizing.
- Actions: Anthelmintic, antimicrobial, haemostatic, refrigerant.
- Immune System – Chills, cold, flu, infectious diseases.
- Contra Indications = Use in moderation as may cause irritation to mucous membranes.Do not use in pregnancy until in labour (as stimulates contractions).
Clove Bud:
- Properties: Stimulating, warming, motivating.
- Actions: Antibiotic, antihistaminic, antiviral,
- Immune System – Colds, flu, minor infections
- Chinese medicine function: To tonify the Yang, warm the interior and strengthen the Shen.
- Contra Indications = May inhibit blood clotting & pose a drug interaction risk. Not recommended during pregnancy, as maybe feto-toxic.
Rosemary:
- Properties: Stimulating, warming, uplifting.
- Actions: Antiviral, stimulant, tonic, uplifting.
- Immune system – Cols, flu, infections.
- Contra Indications = not recommended during pregnancy, or if you have epilepsy or high blood pressure.
Myrrh:
- Properties: Centering, restoring, calming.
- Actions: Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, cicatrisant, revitalising, stimulant (digestive, pulmonary), tonic, vulnerary.
- Immune System – Colds, strengthening immune system & being used in cancer care.
- Contra Indications = not recommended during pregnancy, as maybe feto-toxic.
Eucalyptus:
- Properties: Uplifting, clearing, refreshing, stimulating, decongesting.Properties
- Actions: Antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal, depurative, haemostatic, stimulant, uplifting.
- Immune System – Colds, fevers, flu infectious illnesses e.g. measles, chickenpox, shingles.
- Pharmacology: This oil is dominated by the restorative, oxygenating constituents 1,8 cineole and monoterpenes ; these are balanced by relaxant monoterpenols.
- Contra Indications = Incompatible when taking homeopathic treatments as counteracts the effects
Lemon:
- Properties: Stimulating, awakening, clarifying, uplifting.
- Actions: antimicrobial, antiscorbutic, antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal, cicatrisant, depurative, detoxifying, febrifuge, fungicidal, haemostatic, stimulates white coruscles, tonic, uplifting.
- Immune System – Colds & flu, fever & infections.
- Contra Indications = is phototoxic and may cause sensitivity to sunlight if used on the skin, may irritate skin and thus used in low concentrations.
Orange:
- Properties: Uplifting, balancing and harmonizing.
Actions: Antiviral, stimulant, uplifting, warming - Respiratory System – Bronchitis, chills.
- Contra Indications = is phototoxic if used on the skin and may cause sensitivity to sunlight.
