Our specially formulated "Period Cramp Ease" Rescue Roller-Ball blend of Roman Chamomile, Lavender, Marjoram, Rosemary, Cinnamon & Clove Leaf: Is an easy to use roller bottle, just pop it into your coat pocket or handbag and you can use when your having menstrual cramps & mid-cycle ovulation pains, & experiencing the emotional effects from your periods.
We have blended together 6 different essential oils using their unique synergies to help:
- reduce pain and discomfort,
- natural muscle relaxer
- reduce inflammation,
- feeling more balanced,
- decrease feelings of nausea,
- increase blood circulation, to the applied area,
- natural astringent, so it helps flush out toxins and helps with water retention,
- when breathed in promotes deeper breaths, which improves oxygen in muscles and eases tension,
When rolling essential oil blends in through the skin at the pulse points or rub it into the area of pain in the body, their healing components are absorbed into the bloodstream. From there they disperse to the specific organs and systems on which they work. Some of the essential oils’ components, carried via the bloodstream, can also pass through the blood-brain barrier to the limbic system in the brain, where they can influence the endocrine and autonomic nervous systems.
We use essential oils medicinally to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. As it enhances both the physical and emotional body.
Please note that differnt % dillution are used in our blends to be used for each age-group, e.g for Adult 3% dillution, Teenages 2% dillution, - only to be used on the body, NOT on the face as skin in this area is too delicate.
If you would like a blend for a child please contact us and we can make a specific safe blend to your childs needs, as childrens skin is very delicate and due to there body weight/size we have to be very careful when appling essential oils....as many are contra-indicated due to toxicity in children.

Essential oils used in this Blend :
Roman Chamomile:
- Properties: Calming, cooling, harmonizing.
- Actions: Analgesic, anti-anaemic, antiphlogistic, antispasmodic, astringent, carminative, digestive, emmenagogue, hepatic, hypnotic, nerve sedative, stomachic, stimulant, tonic.
- Genito-Urinary System – Dysmenorrhoea, menopausal problems, menorrhagia.
- Chinese medicine function: To activate the Qi, descend Yang Qi and calm the spirit.
- Contra Indications = Stop using 2 weeks prior to any surgery as it may affect blood glucose levels during and post procedure.
Lavender:
- Properties: Soothing, calming, harmonizing, relaxing.
- Actions: Analgesic, antidepressant, antispasmodic, carminative, cordial, emmenagogue, nervine, sedative, stimulant, sudorfic, tonic.
- Digestive System – Abdominal cramps, colic, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea.
- Genito-Urinary System – Cystitis, dysmenorrhoea, leucorrhoea.
- Chinese medicine function: To activate the Qi, nourish the Yin, clear heat and calm the spirit.
- Contra Indications = No known contraindications.
Marjoram:
- Properties: Strengthening, balancing, relaxing.
- Actions: Analgesic, antispasmodic, emmenagogue, relaxing, sedative, tonic, vasoconstrictive, warming.
- Digestive System – Colic, constipation, dyspepsia, flatulence.
- Genito-Urinary System – Amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, leucorrhoea, PMT.
- Chinese medicine function: To activate Qi, descend the Yang and calm the spirit.
- Contra Indications = is an emmenagogue,not recommended during pregnancy.
Rosemary:
- Properties: Stimulating, warming, uplifting.
- Actions: Analgesic, antispasmodic, astringent, cephalic, diuretic, emmenagogue, hypertensive, stimulant, tonic, uplifting.
- Genito-Urinary System – Dysmenorrhoea, leucorrhoea.Immune system – Cols, flu, infections.
- Contra Indications = not recommended during pregnancy, or if you have epilepsy or high blood pressure.
Cinnamon Leaf:
- Properties: Warming, stimulating, vitalizing.
- Actions: Antidiarrhoeal, antispasmodic, astringent, carminative, digestive, emmenagogue, spasmolytic, stomachic, .
- Digestive System – Diarrhoea, sluggish digestion, spasm.
- Genito-Urinary System – Childbirth (stimulates contractions), frigidity, leucorrhoea, metrorrhagia, scanty periods.
- Chinese medicine function: To tonify the Yang, warm the interior and strengthen the Shen.
- Contra Indications = Use in moderation as may cause irritation to mucous membranes. Do not use in pregnancy until in labour (as stimulates contractions).
Clove Bud:
- Properties: Stimulating, warming, motivating.
- Actions: Carminative, spasmolytic, stimulant, stomachic, .
- Chinese medicine function: To tonify the Yang, warm the interior and strengthen the Shen.
- Contra Indications = May inhibit blood clotting & pose a drug interaction risk. Not recommended during pregnancy, as maybe feto-toxic.
